I thought all caps was shouting...lol. I guess if you consider posting opinions that are backed by facts rather than backed by opinion....as a form of shouting, then I shout pretty loud. |

@ LexusFman They kind of did that with the 1st gen tC it is under the Toyota nameplate and called the (2nd gen) Matrix XRS, granted it isn't the same platform as the tC nor a Scion (which I believe you're getting at) but it's close enough to what your saying... and closer to the tC than the 10th gen Corolla XRS is with its torsion beam rear suspension. |

As for the drifting thing, I know what you mean. It's the only motor competition that's decided by a popularity contest rather than a timing system. Dragon: I'm getting the feeling that things are going to go your way with the Scion thing. If the Subaru is way overpriced, it's looking like I will be joining you as a (well eventually) proud Scion owner. I wonder how long it'll take me to get over it? Hopefully all it will take is a test drive. If that is the case, what do you think of the Scion 'fR'?

I have a friend who is convinced that NASCAR drivers are more talented than WRC drivers.
*edit* I just realized that this has nothing to do with this thread. But he still said it. LOL

Just trying to catch my post count up to yours... ![]() Dimman I don't know, I still think it will be a Toyota. You think they will show a Toyota badge all this time and then pull the ol switcheroo? Mayber there might be a Scion version as well as the Toyota. I know one thing, this might be one of the most hyped cars of this decade. If not THE most hyped. Lets just hope it doesn't disappoint after all this building up of the product. |

when they advertise "Dimension" why do I automatically think they are going to show a box.... anyone else... have that initial reaction after seeing that site? and...hmm.. for some reason if the MKIII yes im calling it that for Scion's model if they show it, is a good balance between MKI and MKII I'm willing to go up to NY to take a look at it. Like I'll be wiling to take the next flight out just cause. Best case scenerio is if they have a Toyota version a Subie version and a Scion version. The Scion being close to MKI then I think that's a good combo. Worst case scenerio is that SCION had a FWD version that uses the FT86 design study with another engine out of a camry or Corolla(not a bad thing, for some I guess?) Instead of a Boxer. Sigh... the wait time... speculate more ;(
