Time to take the wife out to a nice dinner, do all the dishes and laundry, and explain why I need 1400-1500 worth of exhaust then. I assume the front pipe is due at the same time?

I'm getting the 80mm pipe for my turbo kit. Does Tomei make a titanium overpipe too?

Front pipe is due here on the 24th, so just shortly after the catbacks arrive here.

No, just their catback and front pipe will be Titanium. They will be releasing the header and overpipe as well, but those will be Stainless Steel.

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Rick

My shop/tuner pre-ordered my 80mm Tomei exhaust for me a long time ago.

I'm not sure if he ordered the front pipe as well, I'll have to ask. I think I'd want the Tomei front pip to match the exhaust as well.

Nice! And the Titanium front pipe would be awesome to have as well. Might as well go with titanium if you are upgrading anyway

Thanks,
Rick

Do you know who my shop/tuner pre-ordered the exhaust from? Maybe directly from Tomei?

I'll call tomorrow and find out, but I was just wondering if these exhausts were available only from Tomei, or if they were available from a number of dealers.

We can get these for you without a problem. We have a ton of ever version coming in this month. You are welcome to get one on pre-order or wait for sound and video clips like I know a few people are doing

Thanks,
Rick

I'm trying to imagine what a ton (by weight) of these exhausts would look like as far as volume.

Hmmm... let's see.

1 ton= 1016 KG, assuming roughly 6.4kg per exhaust. that would be 158.75 exhausts. Each exhaust box is 7896 cubic inches. So 1 ton of Tomei exhausts would roughly take up 1,253,490 cubic inches, or 104,457.5 Cubic Feet of space.

Today must be a slow day for me too

Oh and I am 68% sure I messed up in the math somewhere haha.
Thanks,
Rick
