What tuning solution are you using that requires the maf?

I assume your not going ecutek since i believe those tunes are speed density. If you were going stand alone I would assume speed density as well. That leaves BRZedit (what i am using for my na tuning, and they are working on a speed density patch i hear) or unichip.

i was going to get vistonti but he is not coming over just yet, so i need a basemap and then be able to drive my car... i need to get back to him, if he tells me that he has a 5psi base map mafless i can get this thing running in no time!

other solutions are Treadstone performance has a maf housing, but thats too many couplers in my engine bay, or KStech has a maf flange in stainless but it says WRX 02-07 so im not sure it is going to fit

Right on,

Must respect to you for taking on a project like this!. One of these days I'll get around to buying some welding gear so I can start doing my own builds :happy0180:

have you asked KStech if they can machine you an 08+ flange in stainless? I'm sure they could.

I made my own when I was going to run stainless piping, I had 3" stainless bar and bored it out then parted it off. Was just a disk that I welded onto the pipe and then drilled the holes lol

i also talked to Lachute Performance, they say they can do it no problem but they asked for 2 full days of dyno tuning at 120$ an hour because i would be the first frs turbo they do... that doesnt make me feel safe and seems pricey as well.. i will see, i have time to think about it...
If you get Visconti to come down. I wouldn't mind a tune, for me and my buddy so we can make his trip worth it at least!

I finally welded my BOV adapter and installed it! I also built my turbo inlet pipe and ordered my K&N filter. I will be welding the inlet this week and once the filter shows up i can put the bumper back on for good!
