But wiring up lights and stuff won't really help you with wiring up an ECU or piggy back system
Oh no worry. Take your time, FT86 isn't coming out tomorrow or anything, so take your time.

Of course wiring up lights and stuff won't help w wiring up ECU. Piggy back system, I have a friend who is really good at, so don't worry bout that. I'm not expecting to become a master of wiring to begin w. I want to learn some minor electrical stuff first to do on my current car.

Well what all do you want to learn? Soldering? Splicing? Or more like actual amperage and voltage ect.?

Hm... idk, I have done soldering & splicing before (but just basic stuff). I kinda wanna do LED taillights on my Imp, but I have no idea where to begin w board, soldering, wiring, amperage and other confusing stuff, so when you said you gonna do LED it's good time to learn

Dont know exactly what you want to do with the led's but you can get the led bulbs and just throw a load resistor on them, but sounds like you may want to get fancy with it and not just replacement bulbs

I'm glad that Supra was far away from me. Lil bit ago, I was searching around Supra and noticing a lot of Targa top is on sale more than hard top.

Honestly if your a straight race guy a lot of people prefer hard top cause it's more sturdy and didn't rattle at high hp and speeds, but if you tighten your top down right it's just like a hard top, mine is targa by the way

I'm still debating if I ever get one to go hard top or targa. I guess whatever comes along when I can afford it lol. Though I like the targa
