Unboxed and ready to go mount the rubber. It's amazing how much concave is in the 8.5" wheels!

So that's the replacement for the 5axis wheels? Makes sense now. I love the looks of your car on the 19s, can't wait to see what it looks like with these on it.

I've got a new skirt (3rd gen) at my office. I just don't know if I want to try again. Been contemplating removing the entire kit and selling it. All is good with it except the drivers side which is what the 3rd gen skirt is for.

What size rubber you putting on the new wheels? I was thinking 225/40/18 for my 8.5's squared.

That is perfect for the 8.5's. Another good option is 245/35/18. That would match stock diameter very well.

Im just afraid that 35 is to thin and would then really require me to lower the car, I was hoping the 40 would fill the gap enough to where I wouldnt need to lower it. Also if do got with 40 would it be a problem if i lowered it?

The 225/40/18 will have a diameter around 25.1 inches. A 245/35/18 will have a diameter of 24.7 which is same as stock.

You will probably want to lower it with whatever tire choice you go with. Only way to fix the 4x4 look. 1" drop will do wonders.

I've been running 235/40 both lowered and unlowered, overall diameter is 25.4 but my speedo is still right on. Definitely helps fill in the wheel gap and gives a little more sidewall for ride quality. Only downside is the lower effective gear ratio but it's hardly noticable.

Late night. I hate moving. Mounted the new set on the FR-S and washed the Five AD wheels for @STORMRIDER. No time left to package them up today. Liked those wheels...

New ones

I know, I need to wash the car.

Here's the old ones all washed and ready to be packaged up once they dry.

Sorry @STORMRIDER for not shipping tomorrow. At least your new wheels will be nice and clean when you get them. I just don't want to wrap them up when wet.
