HKS dual resonated front pipe popped up for sale last night from local FB club member. Grabbed it and installed today.

Bought a 2017 header, decatted it and got it installed - and snapped the stud on the old header and overpipe.
Took another 2 hours to grind and drill out the remaining stud bit on the overpipe, but left the header alone for scrap as the heat shields on it were badly rusted and corroded anyway. So far no difference on power delivery at low revs, and it feels more eager up top.

Installed Flex Z coilovers Whiteline front end links along with them. Tires are next!
The stock suspension is all original so getting some.of those bolts off was a challenge. I picked up a Milwaukee M12 Stubby though and made the job a LOT quicker.

After being certain of no oil leaks, I put on a turbo blanket- I can't wait to feel the difference. The front pulleys of the engine (especially the fluidampr) would be radiating heat hours after the car had been shut down..

Washed and sold it to Carvana. Amazing car, had it for 10 years, loved it. Lot of good memories and fun times. Bittersweet, but feels fitting that I replaced it with a 2nd gen.
