Hotside of the compressor or turbine outlet. Either way, I hadn't posted any pictures of those sections.

Turbine outlet was just getting a redo to 3" for the V band housing anyway.

Well both really, but that question was mainly targeted toward turbine side. Probably just waiting for pics of mounted turbo will answer all of my curiosity. My first thought for placing the turbo is to relocate the battery and put it there. Route exhaust up where you have your ic piping, to turbo, then back down. My main concern with this is getting reasonably fresh air. My brz is still a couple weeks out so I haven't gotten to pull the battery and screw around with placement yet.

Im assuming you had to cut a significant amount for the ic piping down in the front bumper? iirc it is completely blocked off.

The mass of persons won't want to relocate the battery. Although I'm not sure you can realistically fit one there. My number 1 concern is the direct injection ecu and the harness. You would be running the inlet and exhaust so tightly up against the main harness I would be severely worried about long term effects.

I'm not sure what you recall about cutting in the front bumper. I have made the entire kit thus far zero cuts. The only thing ive changed in the bumper area is a small plastic fold and its plastic clip was removed. Other than that the horn is relocated with its own bracket.

Awesome, I appreciate your reasoning.

As far as the bumper goes, thats good to hear. It might be an important difference in that Ive only been able to scour over a frs... Haven't been any brz's in my area yet, apparently Im getting the first one.

Loving this build so far! Very tempted to buy once I sell my bike but I dont want to void warranties and then be out of pocket for everything.

Screw Lysholm, try to pluck one of those Eaton TVS units from somewhere. Anything besides ZR1 use it?

I love how ppl ask for HP numbers and no one knows how this engine will react to boost. Let them build their turbo kit, test, adjust, and tune. Then we can ask for HP numbers.

considering that the gazoo twin charged concet is on stock internals.....and making 315 hp ~250whp im gonna guess this engine does decent since toyota has confirmed they are in it with gazoo..... also dont think oh man 250whp only from a twin charged... i doubt there goal was big power more just a full power band
