Hey guys,
I am very new to this whole tuning thing. I have ordered an OFT and I have the following installed: - UEL header - EVO 3 Catback - Injen CAI Which map should I be using? I am assuming the stage 2 93oct? Also I am from Canada and I am 3,500ft above sea level will this require tweaking my AFR (or other settings)? or should I just install everything and then capture a log? Who would I send that too in order to check if everything is running ok. This is my only car and I am very worried I am going to f something up and destroy the engine. |

Djust got my OFT this week and flashd a euro stage 2 EL map in too the car
![]() Runing an ACE 4-2-1 header and 2,5" exhast whit vibrant 200cel catt and cosworth panel filter. My question is, what typ of Fuel ar the euro stage 2 mapps for? Looked att the US mapps and those hade 91 or 93 oktane to schoose from. Her in Sweden i run 98ron or 98+ron, but as i understand that is equal to yor 93? |

in general the usa 93 fuel is superior to our 98 ron fuel. if your getting no knock over 5000 rpm then you could try copying the base timing B map from the usa equlivant tune. The only difference between 91\93 maps is base timing B table ie timing over 5000 rpm is reduced about 1.5 degrees in the 91 maps and hence our maps |

so I have possibly a real dumb question but I searched all through the forum for the answer. I flashed to stage 1 93 when I first received the oft a few months back. I ordered uel headers and then flashed over to stage 2 uel 93. I drove roughly 60 miles since flashing but I swear my butt dyno says it pulled a little harder between 3-4k on the stage 1 tune. I've been driving and letting it do its closed loop cycle for 90 percent of those 60 miles. Just wondering if anyone else feels this way?

Butt dyno probably mistaking the agressive vvt sound in stage 1 tunes between 3000-4500 rpm as power. due to uel header that agressive vvt timing is not used so its smoother and you dont get the raspy noise, |
