Anyone going to Gridlife Round 3 at Gingerman Raceway, in South Haven?
I'm competing in Time Attack in the HPDE+ Class. so i had to take the E85 tune back off the car... I saw a few Times set by Austin Cabot. but he was on slicks and e85. Just wondering what good times are for people on 200 tread wear and 93 octane. I was running 1:48-49's in May on an old crappy set of DZ101's i took off an STI at my shop. I had no engine mods at all either, just suspension. I'm hoping to bbe in the low 1:48's-high 1:47's.. Maybe see some of you there? |

Well, beat my goal. Clicked off a 1:46.5xx (according to the track transponder for GRIDLIFE timing) on Hankook RS-3 245/40/17 OFT tune on 93. UEL Header full exhaust, K&N Drop in, Stance coils, AP RLCA, and Whiteline Roll Center correction kit. EBC Yellow stuff pads STR brake fluid, SS lines I do believe this is the fastest Non slick tire NA FRS around that track? If i would have stayed on E85 and made a few other adjustments im SURE i could have seen a 1:45. |

Is there a fastest time set for MSR Cresson yet on here? I know the fastest we've gone so far is 1:25.6, but I think @Jonsey has gone faster.

I have camber plates and don't consider that part of the suspension as there are no moving parts.

Nope, you guys have me that way now but I haven't driven it on the crack tires yet (I mean R71rs). 1:25.8x is my fastest 1.7 and a 2:30.32 is my fastest on the 3.1.

Thanks; yeah I'd have to look at some data comparing a clean lap to that lap and see if there is any difference in speed through the corner, but I was giving it as much as I could with that line knowing I was on a flyer lol

That's a very nice time given your set up and tires.

Jonsey,
Reading through the posts you guys both have super quick times. Imagine dropping the 2.0 turbo motor out of the new STI into the car. That would be amazing I think! |

Here's your TWS CCW benchmark , I also should get a handicap as I did this while having the flu...
NA Texas World Speedway (TWS), CCW config / 1:59.89 (AIM Solo II DL)/ Scott Bartlett / November 15, 2015 / HKS Drop-in Filter w/ snorkel mod, OFT custom tuned by TopSpeed Motorsports, RevWorks header, stock OP, DC front pipe, stock midpipe, Nameless Race Muffler (single exit), Mishimoto Oil Cooler, AP Sprint Kit with Cobalt XR2 pads front & rear, Torque RT700 Fluid, 225/40R17 NT01s w/ ~15 heat cycles on TSW 17x8 wheels, RaceComp Engineering Tarmac 2 w/ 500lb springs, stock tophats, crash-bolts (-3* front camber, -2.2* rear camber), AP harness bar w/ Schroth Profi II ASM harness, Motul gear oil in trans/diff. Video Warning: it's a fast lap, but sure is an ugly lap; missed T6 apex, pushed wide @ T8 and missed a gear @ T10 carousel, was in neutral when I tried to go back to throttle rather than 2nd gear Helmet Cam:
