Another thing to be aware of @ MRLS is that you really want to try hard to avoid off-track excursions if at all possible. Dial it back some. There are spots on that track surrounded by gravel where you can get stuck.

You don't want to hold up an entire session so you can be towed out. I seen that more than once on the outside between turn 9 and 10.
Don't be THAT GUY! LoL.

It was crazy, i saw both of the beamers crash. One of them was right behind me. It was turn 5 and he over steered, over corrected and just flew into the tire wall on the right. It was insane watching it in my rear view mirror. The other BMW scraped i think his driver side on turn 4, i think he spun and went into the wall and scraped it.
I know, thats what I was saying, hopefully people don't go balls out on the first lap like my last track day because it will end a lot worse at Laguna Seca. I totally plan on taking it easy and not pushing the limits, I just want to soak in the history and enjoy the day.

That guy was in front of me. His car was like stretched out over a rain ditch and he couldn't move... Nasty offroad excursion.

Driving Instructor Needed for Nov 3 @MRLS. PM for details.

The story goes like this. I cannot attend the Nov 3 @ MRLS. So I was going to give up my paid spot to another BRZ owner. After an informative inquisition with NCRC just now, she may not be able to attend based on zero track time. She needs an instructor! That said, if there is an instructor available for Nov 3 @MRLS, or if you know an instructor with credentials, please PM me. I will give up my paid spot to that instructor (forward your credentials to NCRC) so that my friend can have the experience.

TIA!

And the packets should be mailed out soon.

Awww man that sucks, I was hoping I'd get a ride along in the SC monster (although, I just realized that we are all in the same run group, so that wouldn't have happened anyway). Hope your friend gets an instructor, I've had a similar instance with a friend, fortunately, there was somebody there in the advanced group that used to be an instructor and knew the organizers (trackmasters I think) and was able to jump right in with out any fuss.

Aww man seriously, that sucks you can't go. We've been talking about this track day for awhile now, and now that you have the SC car I would've loved to see/hear your reaction to it on track. Hopefully you can find an instructor so your paid spot doesn't go to waste!

Yup me too . We can go for a ride anytime. But the car won't be prepped for 92db.

Hahaha. I have the temptation to set this as my signature. "It came with the car".

I dunno why but made me LOL, like: "I bought this car and it came with this supercharger thing.. I don't know what it is, but I sure do like it!"

Lol

Half the "fun" is putting it on and wrestling with all the little bugs and headaches....!

PS MRLS has a crazy db limit. I was getting black flagged back when I had a muffler delete + stock everything else. Are you putting the muffler back on now that you have a UEL?
