I am about to install the second can since I recently finished installing my Kraftwerks kit so a quick question;

When adding the "breather side can" did you simply extend the hose that goes into the breather tube and put into the inlet of the can and add the hose from outlet side to the breather tube back?

Please correct me if I am wrong so is this the correct route?

Engine >can inlet>can outlet> breather tube (in my case cold air intake)

Thanks in advance

Engine tube (Port Behind AC Compressor) > Can Inlet > Can Outlet tube to Air intake.

I ran new hose from breather port to can then new line to intake airbox on vortech.

It's really hard to access behind AC compressor at this moment since the SC, pulleys and bracket needs to come off but I think I can just use the hose that goes into the Air intake (which I already extended by using the 90 degree plastic barb with .5" extension hose) and another hose from the can to the intake as you mentioned.

Thanks again

Yeah that's fine as long as the hose does not have an obstruction you are good, that line is not under vacuum like the PCV line so its no issue.

I really like how clean that install is.

Thanks, I really took my time and read everything carefully, my tuner (moto-mike) sent me the revised tune so I am planning the flash the ECU again today.. so hopefully I can take my car for a dyno session within the next couple of weeks and of course some track events planned ahead so it should be a good track season this year.

Has anyone had an issue with the side barb fitting getting in the way of the dipstick on the inside? I just got my kit 2 weeks ago and am installing it today, and there isn't enough clearance on the INSIDE of the can for the dipstick to go in straight. If you have the dipstick in first, and then screw in the barb fitting on the side, you wont be able to get the dipstick out at ALL. ANYONE else seen this? Driving me crazy, because it's pretty much an install stopper...

Post pics, installed mine in 15 min no problems. Sounds like you just have to adjust the hose fitting?

Figured it out. Radium sent me the incorrect fittings. They are sending me new ones asap. I ended up filing down the current ones for the time being. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Mark - When you installed you Vortech, did you use the pcv check valve that comes with the kit? Or did you just leave the hoses as is for the catch can setup? The Vortech Instructions want me to place it between the top of the engine (passenger side) and the engine, which the catch cans now get between.

Thanks!

I have a Vortech SC and Radium catch can. I installed the check valve as per Vortech's instructions. You will have to get a pair of 1/2" to 3/8" hose reducer in order to hook up the lines to the catch can with the check valve in place.

It would then go like this:

PCV valve --> 3/8" hose --> hose reducer --> 1/2" hose --> Radium catch can top inlet

Radium catch can side outlet --> 1/2" hose --> hose reducer --> 3/8" hose --> check valve --> stock PCV hose --> intake manifold

Be sure to use clamps on everything, especially the one going to the PCV valve

So where the heck did you find hose reducers then? Don't want to order online and wait - but can't figure out where to start looking in town...

Also - in this photo - the check valve goes in the line i've marked with an X correct? And it would be oriented like this Catch Can ------> Car Right?

Thanks!

I had to get them from ebay. I couldn't find any at the local hardware store. Just search ebay for "3/8 1/2 hose reducer"
