IIRC there were folks running an E36 M3 in STU back in the day who said they couldn't see an increase in braking distance on the datalogger until they got past -4 in the front. YMMV.

BTW it sounds awesome. Saw the video from the last event, but when I heard it firsthand today with that stock front pipe, I was blown away. Note the complete lack of "rasp". As you can see in the video not much louder than the STR MX-5 despite the catless header. Forgive the shakiness, 210mm lens handheld manual focus is no easy task!
