Not gonna lie, PART of me is tempted to roll the dice. But I can't afford the possible consequences haha.

Either way, everyone is in a holding pattern and honestly, I would rather wait for everything to be worked out and safe. John also mentioned that he has access to the new flash that the dealers have been using to fix the CEL issue so I, for one, would rather wait for that flash image even though I already have the old one. And before everyone bombards him with questions, he did state in that post that he will offer the old or new flash as an option once everything with the ECU issues is settled.

I would personally delete it so that I wouldn't even be tempted. Would be like putting all of your $ on one number in roulette, when the software hits 100% written the ball falls and...

Can you? I see you have the cable and dongle. Is the tune loaded on there? I was under the impression you got the cable and then Visconti emailed you a tune file.

Are you seriously asking him to potentially lock up his ECU? The box comes with the cable and dongle. John then emails you a stock ROM and tuned ROM.

I'm in a similar boat. I have a dongle and cable. I was just under the impression you needed to be emailed the tune files.

I think he was asking if he had the ability to do it, not asking him to go ahead and tune it.
