EcuTek works on A LOT of different cars. They don't own all the cars they support.

Just wanted to let you know that I take problems like this seriously, and so does EcuTek.

With-out even blinking a eye EcuTek purchased a BRZ today and will have it IN-HOUSE on Monday.

Even though BRZ development project is almost done - this will speed up what's left and help reduce problems like this.

90% of all the cables went out before I left on my trip.

Whats left?

1. People I sent the EcuTek loaner cable to - why? My Loaner cable is missing and I need to figure out who the last person to have it.

2. Human Error. - In a weeks time if everyone that's in the USA and doesn't have there cable then I'll look into it.

John, I sent you a email and a pm that I received your loaner cable back around 9/21(I still have the pm and email). I haven't received word or anything the past 2 weeks on what to do with it. I didn't know if you were going to email me a tune or if you were waiting until after all the issues were corrected first.

Good to hear ECUtek purchased a BRZ. Will give them more time to test and develop... without being up against the pressure of giving a customer's car back in a relatively short amount of time. Cool stuff!

So just to be clear those of us with existing working tunes are ok to reflash though between E85 (v1.03b3) / pumpgas (v1.06b9) / stock. The problem is with the new tune and not the Ecutek software? Going to the dealer and currently on E85 or wouldn't ask with everything else going on. Don't want to assume anything though and create more problems.

Edit: I also have NOT done a software update since this all started. Guessing there should be no issue, but again do not want to assume anything at this point.

You wouldn't be able to do anything with the tune file now anyways unless you like rolling the dice on screwing up your ECU until they come out with the updates and John gives us the OK to flash.
