Absolutely. It will make more power on 93, even with the CARB tune.

As octane increases, the CARB tune is capable of adapting to the higher octane, and will safely give you more power.

While the primary purpose of the CARB tune is to give California owners a legal way to boost the car, it's not going to be a limitation for those outside of California that have better fuel.

Anyone have a typical CARB tune, 91 octane 0-60/ quarter mile time? Also, is a BBK pretty much required or are you ok with upgraded pads?

That's what I got from his post.
Precisely this. Generally speaking, those that add Water/Meth injection know that they're adding a significant amount of risk.

I wouldn't ever recommend it for a street driven car.

I've tracked it on stock brakes, and brakes didn't fade until near end of 4th session.

But it was TWS CCW, so I didn't need to brake that much. And it was like 40°F

New driver is what you are. Going CW at tws, I had major brake fade on xp10s on stock brakes. I'm on sprints now with c300s and couldn't be happier.

Cold weather = more power = more braking requirements!

CW is way harder on the brakes. What with having to drop from ~125-135+ to about 40 for Larry, moe, and curly.

Also, who's faster, you or dai?

Dai is by 3-4 seconds, having aero helps if you get to our level, I had sti brembos going ccw so I can't count that way and it's not that hard on brakes on either direction other then going into 15. And I go into turn 15 over 80 mph and brush off speed as I go.

No. Huge swings in temperature are bad regardless. Don't argue with Mike/CSG unless you are extremely experienced at track driving. They live and breathe track and do very much know what they are talking about.

So is getting your brakes hot enough to boil the fluid.
