I may be the only one that likes the TRD exhaust tips instead of big round or slash cut tips.

Since I'm considering doing something similar to the lotus diffuser + cut out part of the bumper I might try to use these tips as dual center exit, but I'll have to see ACE's design in person to see how possible this is.

I like the design of using the reverse light space but I don't think I'll care for the original exhaust ports being empty and using FT86SF's covers would only create more drag.

There are a lot of people that love the TRD exhaust tip shape just not the concept behind the catbacks narrower exhaust pipping (which actually seemed to improve the torque dip slightly on NA cars with OEM tunes). I'm one of the people that prefer the half moon shape to round and even bought a take-off set to weld on to another exhaust.

I am one of those people. I love the shape AND the sound. If only there was a way to keep that with an actual wider exhaust piping it would be perfect. Altho the TRD will go when I go with the supercharge, as it will be 1: too loud, 2: too restrictive. Keeping an eye on the ACE muffler in the meantime.

They'll have a traditional dual exit out shortly after the center exit that won't require body modifications.

Here's a suggestion that's going to go over like a lead ballon:

If sourcing exhaust tips really is the issue, consider selling an introductory version of the exhaust without tips. As long as the exit piping is relatively large and angle cut, it'll look cool. Think of a vintage Porsche 911 or BMW E46 M3 exhaust, and you'll get the idea of what I'm envisioning. It's definitely not going to go over with the tuner crowd, but it will look tough and purposeful and be perfect on a track toy. If you have to dress it up, you can coat the last four or five inches with gray or black ceramic coating and laser etch the ACE Header logo into the top of the piping like BMW did with the BMW Motorsports logo on the E46 M3.

Alright guys, let the flames begin!

I think for MY16 we actually did get them. I noticed my tips aren't the anemic looking ones that have been on all the previous years, and actually fill the cutouts pretty nicely by comparison.

I don't care about tips. It's useless.

The "drag" from exhaust covers will be negligible unless you are running in some crazy ass class. Then I doubt you would be buying from ace and you would have a team of engineers supporting you.

Excellent idea. I'd love a quality exhaust that is lightweight and relatively quiet without anything extra at the tip(s). A simple raw pipe that is angle cut is equally as appealing to me as a system that uses some shiney large-diameter, titanium, engraved, embossed whoosiwhatsit.
