Hey guys, just wanted to drop in and say hey. My name is Louis and I plan on picking up a FRS when I get home from offshore (given I find one). Currently I drive a 04 WRX, but it's as good as sold. I've been following the development of this car for a while and with any luck, I'll be in one soon.

ps, I've noticed a couple familiar names from NASIOC.

Welcome! I was subiemax on nasioc.
You should be able to find one. Just go to scions website and do a search. There are like 10 dealerships within driving distance. Someone will have one.

I did that a couple days ago and searched the whole state (I'm in Lake Charles). I only found one that I wanted, Ultramarine 6spd. It was in Baton Rouge, so I called to check on it and found out they didn't have it. The sales mgr is supposed to call me tomorrow once he gets his new allocation and let me know what he's getting. I'm more open to color choices now as long as it's not red. I'm not a red guy. Hopefully he has one coming in that I'd like and he can hold it for me. Like I said, I'm offshore right now and I explained that to him. He seemed understanding, so hopefully he can help me out. I checked the local dealership, but they won't be getting any FRS's for another month, and it will probably be just one. So tomorrow could be an exciting day for me.

I'm theboucher on NASIOC. I don't really post much on there though. I still lurk to keep up with current events and meets.

If tomorrow doesn't pan out, don't be afraid to look further out. I flew to New Hampshire for my BRZ, and that trip back will be one of the experiences I cherish for the rest of my life. Really, a road trip in a new car is an amazing experience. I got my M3 under similar circumstances. I'll never buy a car less than a day's drive away ever again.

Screw the Bohn Zone. Douchebags have the gall to look me in the eye and tell me Adjusted Market Value is on every car.

Btw I was just leaving McDonalds on Barataria and saw a Whiteout FR-S drive towards the expressway. Hope it wasn't the $3k over MSRP from Don Bohn.

Just wanted to say ditto on the comments about Don Bohn. They tried that crap on me last week when I went to look at one they had on the lot. Best thing is, they had it advertised for the price without the adjusted market value. I wish I would have read about it on here before I drove over there. I'm in Slidell and still looking for one, may just have to special order it.

if they advertised it at a lower price that's what the pure price should have been.

I'm the only BRZ in town but there are atleast 3 other people in lake charles area that have a FRS.....Already wishing I had just picked up a used Cayman S. I would suggest you drive both before choosing the frs, just kinda waiting on someone to take out my brz.

Just wanted to say hello.

I will be picking up a BRZ in Colorado and driving it back to Baton Rouge in the middle of September.

Not sure if it's still there, because I haven't seen it, but Ray Brandt had a Whiteout FRS. They had that one and the Raven I bought at the same time. If you go see Alex Mena, tell him Scott sent you. He'll take care of you and do whatever he can to make you happy.

Point taken, I just got my car back today from the body shop because I bought it with 3 small scratches on the trunk and door. Alex made sure I got an early appointment and made sure my car was back to me on time and took me to and from enterprise for the rent-a-car they put me in.
