All 4 resonators out. Guess what? Can't hear the difference because my exhaust (+ rear seat delete) over powers it. LOL

Can any Aussies recommend somewhere to get plugs or caps from? The one at the front of the airbox in particular.

Didn't have the time to read all the posts in this thread, but can someone give me a cliff notes version? So is it beneficial to remove the snorkel? Or keep it in?

Yes, keep the snorkel, it helps keep intake air temps lower.

Snorkel is definitely useful. Reduces intake temperature.

I had a similar setup on my RX8 to the image below, would be interesting to see if it could be done on the 86:

That is basically the same as the perrin and FA20club intakes.

Except their placement is better, being tucked up in high pressure cool air without restricting the flow through the heat exchangers.

Sounds so aggressive. I may just take the big one out to clean up the engine bay appearance. i enjoy a quiet ride.

The beauty of making the induction louder is you only notice it when you put your foot down unlike most exhausts.

A drop in already does better than most intakes on the market so imagine with a drop in, silicone tube and that intake duct. Syms Racing has a vendor dyno of about 10 whp and Gruppe M has said there dual intake duct got about 10-12 whp so I wouldnt be surprised if this one performed close to how the Syms Racing intake duct did.

But out of the 3 this is the cheapest one. People who think that the max racing duct doesnt do anything have no idea how many other cars have similar ducts that attatch to the stock airboxes like the s2000 and work very well.

Having a duct like that isnt a problem if you live in southern california where it rarely rains. People who are worried about water getting sucked up need to use there head. No one with a brain would drive over a huge puddle. And I am sure a filter would block any little bits of water that does get sucked up when its raining hard.
Sorry mate, somehow I missed this when you posted it. I am still waiting on the duct to land. I have installed the Perrin pipe and filter and have been happy with the extra response and noise. Soon as I have the max racing duct installed I will post my impressions

Wait you guys got any data to substantiate this? I've always read that it's beneficial to remove the snorkel. What gives?

Yup, look at my post here. No extra airflow, just a whole lot of extra heat.
