It's an awesome drive through the mountains of Denver,Utah, and a small piece of Arizona, just make sure it's not snowing... At least I know the snow traction control works well...

Yeah, true. It's all on hold until I can find a tenant for the house I own in VA and can sell the m3 (guy was supposed to call me about it today).

with bunch of add ons? Sure they will take MSRP. MSRP with bunch of addons is still MSRP. Enlighten me.

Not sure what you are asking? I agree with you, MSRP + more options is still MSRP, I am not arguing with that logic. I just kept a spreadsheet to know which dealers were offering which car at what price.

Nuts, I tell you. I finally got my permanent plates from DMV though I'm not thrilled with the assignment. I'm not sure if I can just ask for a replacement but I was going to look into it.

But then I received a letter from DMV with a big ass check of $2.1k for 'overage' or 'overpaid' fees. I don't even know where this amount come from nor what or who to talk to. I guess I'll deposit it and render it untouchable until such time DMV decides I do owe them the monies.

That may be why CA is so poor and cutting everything.

add me to the list of CO>CA buyers! Just placed a deposit with Karen at Heuberger Subaru who was very helpful and will also be arranging transport as well. She got me an excellent price and I felt bad that I was going to finance with Penfed at 1.49% but they were able to get very close so I went with their financing.

off topic, but the prices socal dealers have going are just crazy. South Coast Subaru did get a little desperate and went from their $37,000 initial "offer" down to $30,000. Their sales staff have horrible grammar issues as well. Very unprofessional imo.

This thread helped me out very much! Thanks everyone!

I am planning to call Heuberger as well. Which model/color did you order?

Another question - How did you start your deal with them? Did you mention upfront that you want to ship it to CA? And how flexible are they with the price they post on their website?

Thanks in advance!

I just started by telling them the colors I'm interested and ask what BRZ they had available. Then when I found the BRZ I wanted, I told them if they can ship to California.
