Was it mentioned what mods were done such as for Stage 2+? If that's 191whp with just a OFH then they might have a customer for a header. If I can throw an OP, high flow cat, and intake and get 195-200 then I'm sold.

No 2017 seems to have different coding architecture than the older models

Nevermind I found it on FB, here is what the dynos were done with:

Quote:
Hi guys-- Here's what many of you have been waiting for 2017 86 (6MT) dyno results comparing stock to the newest OTS version of Stage 1, Stage 2+ and Stage 2+ E85. All tested on the same car/same dyno.
Stage 1= Stock car with OFT only on 91oct
Stage 2+= Add OpenFlash Header 3 (OFH3) on 91oct
Stage 2+ E85= As above but running straight E85
The newest 2017 OTS tune files are now available upon request to all OFT customers. Email sales@openflashperformane and provide your calibration ID (either K00C or K00D).

Still very decent results. I'll be buying an OFT and ofh2 or 3 very soon.

Is the stage 2 UEL 91 octane tune released to the masses for the 17? Or is it still in beta.

It is. Just have to email them and they'll send it to you.

i'm going to piggyback and ask for the same.

Someone sent me the beta stage 2 with cold start/CEL off ive been driving with that and its pretty good. I asked Shiv to send me the same and he just sent me a base stage 2. Also when I purchased the OFT I left a note for the same and I got a blank OFT hence why ive been pissy in previous posts.
People don't seem to get that. Im basically relying on strangers on a forum to tune my brand new car.
I understand the beta is basically the same as he is sending out. I will have to figure out this romraider stuff and compare it myself.

Went back 8 pages, don't see a link to tunes. Oh well, I don't drive this thing hard enough to really need the tune anyway. I have the cel delete and cold start on stock 17 tune. Works for me

Once you get into rom raider you're going to realize some skethcy stuff. Like how Stage 2 and Stage 2+ are identical roms, no different tables what so ever. When I asked Shiv about this on FB he said that in earlier revisions of v3.0 they modified tables that are not in the def (Whats OPEN about that??) and that if I used a hex tool I could see differences (Either way I have the newest tune..).

Well what do you know I have FlexHex, let me just load it up to see what's different and...They're identical...

I get that a lot of you guys love this company, they took a new platform 4 years ago and made OTS tunes where you could instantly fill in the dip, and gain horsepower. But right now he's doing dodgy things to BRAND NEW customers, not people who already got their product and are complaining about not getting new stuff for free.

On top of all this IAM and MAF voltage won't even log on my tablet, both show up as 0 in every single one of my logs, and I've sent him 2 emails about it and posted on facebook. He responds to my other stuff, but dodges those questions even when they're in the same message...

All I'm trying to say is that some of us spent $500 just for our 2017 cars to get tunes that were advertised as being on it with full logging support. You could understand why we're angry

So wait, you're upset that a guy who is getting begged to make and upload 2017 tunes and they aren't working well? What do you want? Tunes now, or better tunes later? Quality takes time, and all these people up his arse aren't going to make it better. The V2 tunes have had many revisions, you are still on V3 point zero. He's got other people to work with, other platforms to work on, be glad he isn't making you wait longer for your cold start and CEL deletes. The V3 tunes will get better as he revises them and unlocks portions. The V2 took a while before we got things like 2 step and launch control. Be patient young one.

Are you listening to what I'm saying? I emailed the company asking them what the support for 2017 tunes was like and they said we have completed 2017 tunes ready to go with full functionality, and told me that they infact had 91 AND 93 tunes along with Stage 2 and Stage 2+.

I then proceeded to spend $500 based on the information I had received. I then received my product and it was not as described. There was not 91 and 93 and the stage 2 and 2+ are identical. This isn't a be patience thing. This is purchasing a product under false pretenses.

Maybe they can see something you can't. Like with most programs, you are only getting user end software, not developer. As for 91 and 93 tunes, 91 does count as a 93 tune, as you can always choose a lower octane tune for a higher octane.
