Will you plan to dyno on this combination?
Thanks.
I never mentioned doing a throttle body. At this time there aren't many options in the affordable range from any reputable companies. I will be doing a header and intake but so far intake gains I still lean towards being minimal if not null.

I can't think of a bigger waste of money than a larger throttle body. People need to really learn how airflow works rather than worrying about how big their cock is all the time.

Call Kelson at Crawford Performance (760) 631-2927, and tell him you'd like to get in on the Group Buy from Facebook that is run by Money Shift Racing (so they get the credit)...The more participants, the bigger the discount

Maybe on this engine. It's not a waste on many other engines, especially v6's and v8's with a lot of air coming in.

Most of the japanese manufacturer's properly size the throttle body from the factory so it's not at all a restriction.

^^ It all depends on if the stock TB is actually a restriction or not. It has nothing to do with volume of air or number of cylinders alone.

Most 2L engines upgrade to smaller than what we have stock, but people just seem to jump on the bigger is better train without doing any digging.

On the dyno now (have been for the last 5 hours). Tested the BPB with the Phantom SC installed and with it removed (leaving OFT, OFH and full exhaust). I'll start another thread once I'm done and back home later tonight.

A good bit of custom tuning was required on top of the Stg 2 UEL OTS map.

But, but, but... MOAR bigger = MOAR power, right? Gotta be. They can't put it on the Internet if it isn't true..... LOL

Anyone looking at buying a bigger TB should first log their car to see if they're even getting 100% throttle position as the revs climb. I bet your money would be far better spent having the tune "fixed" to get 100% throttle rather than buying a bigger TB.

Are you gonna release a stage 1 tune as well for the BPB or only stg 2?

Are we gonna have a STG 2 EL BPB? I feel like the EL guys are left a bit behind in map refinement vs UEL. I know you sell OFH but no everyone like the UEL sound.
