isn't the 86 (not frs) supposed to be more tail happy than the brz? from the spring rates, it looks like the brz should be more tail happy. what gives? are the dampers different?

The H&R Super Sport Springs (PN: 54408-77) lower the chassis approximately 1.2” front and 1.4” rear for a more aggressive stance. H&R Super Sport Springs have all the features of H&R Sport Springs, plus additional lowering – great for the seasoned enthusiast looking for a little more.
Working rates for supersport
Front 215
Rear 275

Anybody know the rate for the "Sport" version of this H&R spring yet?

STI spring rate?

Final Swift spring rate?

Inquiring minds want to know...

I'd like to make a suggestion/request that if possible to expand this section and include alignment specs. What part is/are needed to correct camber when lowering the car. How much lower before the car needs aftermarket cambering parts for better tires wear and performance. Maybe I'm not around long enough to read about alignments, but I have not seen this topic going into details. If there are threads, please point me to the right direction. Still, would be nice to have a full info about suspension in one thread.
TIA

Swift Springs

Supposedly I will have new Swift Springs next week.

I won't say exactly what I was told but there are two sets, same rear rate, different fronts rates. Rear rate is on the low end of what is out there, while the front can be had up to higher end of the rates out there.

Just what I was looking for...

Hopefully all the parts arrive this week. I'll post results after the install next week.

Why would the transmission type matter for spring rates?

Fronts are different a lot because auto transmissions are heavier, you see it a lot on fwd I'm surprised they are different on this car.

That's what I would have guessed too. You'd think having an extra passenger would affect the weight distribution more than the extra weight from an automatic.

What about Standard Suspension?
http://standardsuspension.com/news.p...fullnews&id=81

My friend has these on a 2010 Yaris 2-dr HB and it pleased with them.
Anyone with STD on FR-S/BRZ?

RS-R springs for the BRZ have different spring rates and part numbers to the Scion/Toyota ones.

This is the RS-R Japan website
