Around here, at least half of the Twins I've seen have been modded in some way. I've seen a good number with aftermarket tail lights, exhaust mods, wheels/suspension, shark fins, stereo, etc.

Probably one of the most frequently modded cars I've seen actually. It's nice seeing people adding their own personal touches/style.

That's what I love most about it. It's very easy to work on, and everyone can have their own flair

haha yep i agree. When i lived in Kitchener-Waterloo I was unique for owning a Subaru wrx...in the Greater Toronto Area...it's not so rare, especially in Richmond Hill/Markham.

Same goes for the FRS/BRZ...really common in GTA.

Yep! Drove through Markham on Friday and saw 4. Have only seen 6 here in 7 months.

Do crickets count as stock?

Because my car didn't come with them and I didn't add them, but it has them now.

They most certainly do!!!!!
You would think they would at least make them a dealer option though.

They wouldn't dare make it an option because then they wouldn't be able to ruin peoples vehicles with a problem that has been around for 3 years that they won't fix.

*run-on-sentence from the anger Toyota/Scion has made me over this problem.

Your car is "ruined" by a slight noise?
I should have left the topic alone since now we will have thread 1,273,879 turned into a cricket rant!

They are totally stock, and came with your car. Similar to the "pedal dance" you have to know the right combination of fuel, weather and caring about every noise your car makes to activate them.
