Who else keeps their FR-S stock?

Am I the only one? I fell in love with the car stock which is why I purchased it...I can't see myself modding it at all besides maybe tinting the windows. I just felt like bringing it up because it seems like to most people on this forum, the FR-S is a never-ending, never-satisfied type of project.

Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me? :iono:

I plan to when I pick one up. I like spending money on gas driving more than modding.

A person who keeps their car stock is less likely to be on these forums, or even changing their own oil. While being on these forums is the opposite.

Its not that I am not satisfied. I am very happy. I love it. BUUUT I could be also be MORE happy!

i cant keep any car stock :o

Hot Lava 12-12-2014 09:19 PM

The Antiriced of course. Actually what I plan for the future is fog lights and exhaust tips. Though minor those are the two points where the car begs improvement. Thinking there are many others out there planning on keeping it stock. People who mod are just more active on the forum. Oh, and new wheels. Can't forget that.

look at the size of your stock exhaust compared to the space provided...

mods please ban OP

Only slow drivers need to mod. A person with my skill set can win 100% stock.

You are not alone OP. I have stock car and no plans for mods. I would rather save up for next gen 86/BRZ or FT-1 Supra or whatever.

So far I've kept mine stock. I'd like to do some modding with it but not sure I will find the time or funds to do it.

Stock here other than the OFT. But then my idea of "mods" are probably different than the typical FR-S owner. "Mods" to me would be spending money on the engine, tranny, brakes and suspension, not slapping stupid-looking plastic on it or a stance job.

funwheeldrive 12-12-2014 09:57 PM

I've modded my cars in the past, but I want to take my time with the FRS. This will be the only car I buy brand new, and I really want to enjoy the car how it came from the factory before I start changing things. I also want to savor each mod to see how it directly effects the rest of the car.

I probably wont do any mods until after I pay off the car, and once I do, I will probably only mod when a factory part gives out (Air filter, tires, ect.)

Need to define "stock" for mine! It came new from the dealer already lowered, tinted, lip spoiler, catback exhaust, sway bars and intake. Is it stock or modded?
Seeing more and more guys that want to stay stock on here all the time lately. Now that could change once they have the car a while and it isn't quite as new and exciting.
