CONFIRMED! My ETA is the 15th now, as well!! I bet Jeff Perrin's is the 15th now too.

I was going to post that my ETA was bumped to 5/15 also. But then I saw this post. My salesperson is calling the area sales rep to get a confirmation one way or the other. Hopefully he'll have an answer by this evening.

What !!! Awesome how many they getting in first shipment? My guess is next month based on being #3

My dealer has been collaborating with other dealerships in the area to get people's cars to them as fast as possible, and this definitely seems to be the case; Not a single VIN for DGM 6MT Limited. Hopefully, as I expect they come in paint batches, they will be in one of the 2 shipments destined for the east coast before the end of the month and simply haven't arrived on US shores yet.

Edit: I am unsure about other color/trim combinations being available, I only know this one because mine is a DGM 6MT Limited and that's all I cared about when I asked ;P

This reaffirms the fact that there is ZERO rhyme or reason to Subaru allocating these cars. Does anyone feel like they hit Lotto when they got their VIN? I feel like a junky calling up SOA every day for my fix, lol.

That's good, if we are correct in our assumption that Midwest vehicles are coming from west coast shipments. It means there should be some DGM in the east coast shipments too, even if they haven't been given VINs yet.

I got a vehicle status update from my dealership with the following info:

Estimated Arrival 05/18/2012
Schedule Date 05/10/2012

After asking what schedule date is, here's the response I got:

The "schedule date" is when the vehicle is scheduled to come off of the boat at the port. Once it is off of the boat, it will then be "released" to be placed on a "shipped truck" that will drive it from the port to our dealership. Once it arrives here, we have a pre-delivery inspection completed through the service department then it will sent to the detail shop to be cleaned for you to take delivery.

I've got an appointment this coming weekend to start getting some of the paper work started so that I take my car the day it's ready.

This is the info I was looking for. Mine unfortunately has a cross country train ride before it gets to my dealer. It will also need to have any port installed options taken care of prior to getting on a car hauler of the road or rail variety.
