We do things right...

If you got it done 8 days ago you likely got the new pump. The warehouses have been stocked with the new style since early to mid March.
That's nice to know! Thanks. Mine was ordered at the end of February and received at the end of April. Then I had to wait another 3 weeks for the appointment. I believe they don't keep anything in the warehouse here. Every little thing gets ordered and it takes about 2 weeks to get here. I'm now comfortable to say that I have the green-dot pump.

If you are in Auto mode, it will turn AC on/off as needed. If you have everything off...you have gremlins.

Yes. I was told by the technician it was a characteristic of the A/C compressor. The tick actually occurs when the A/C cycles on when the engine is under load. You can replicate it in your driveway but being in neutral and reving the car to ~3k and pushing the A/C button on the instrument panel.

Had mine replaced in mid to late February.

It's taken 3 months and 3000 miles but I heard crickets again this morning.

The new green dot fuel pump is making a weird noise. It's not crickets, but it's definitely making some sort of noise now.

Have had a HPFP on order for 6 months. Still waiting. I've heard it all.

I saw the TSB was revised so I switched back to 10% ethanol gas. The chirps came right back. Took it to the dealership and scheduled it to get a new HPFP. They told me to bring it in next Monday.
I wonder if they can actually get the parts by then.
