I don't know extensively Travis's experience but I know he has been tuning subaru's a bit over the past few years (i think?). So summary, if your okay with working with someone thats new to the platform he is definitely an option. And thats not a bad thing. If you want someone who had pushed the limits on the specific platform call Joe. You are more than welcome to tell him Marin gave you his recommendation. Hopefully this helps!

I'd prefer to use someone local, but if I have to drive to CA to have Drift Office or Vishnu tune my car for 91ACN for the JR Rotrex SC kit, I will. But, if the local guys are confident and experienced (on their own BRZs or others') on tuning for FI, I'd rather use them. It'd save me money, and I prefer to support local businesses.

Somehow thought DO was in CA. I know Vishnu is CA. And when I talk about going to Vishnu, I do mean driving to CA for an on-site tune. This BRZ is my ONLY car. If I'm going to risk the warranty, I'll do it in the most risk-free manner that going FI will allow: on site tune. I'll be fine with remote tuning for fine tuning a reliable, dialed-in protune (ie., not just a "get to the tuner's" base map), but not for the pro-tune itself.
