yeah man it really helps with the torque dip that's for sure, still there but it helps. I'm also running on the stage 1 93 octane tune W/ stock headers but I have full over pipe back exhaust & a CAI. The tune really seems to react well with these bolt-ons

Can anyone shed some light about the OFT. I have been using a 91 Octane stage 2 tune, but my fuel economy is very bad. I am planning to move to a 3" header-back exhaust, straight piped. Can this OFT be used for dyno tuning. I want to get come fuel economy back. I want to get the most benefit from this OFT and don't want to go to EcuTek unless necessary.

Current Setup.
OFT Stage 2 (preloaded) tune.
Borla UEL Header
Invidia Overpipe
Invidia Front Pipe
Borla Cat-Back

Went from 26mpg to 19mpg after I flashed tune. Nothing else was changed.

log the tune look for high positive LTFT this may indicate you have and exhaust air leak causing cat to run rich

also look at commanded afr vs AFR (measured) you shouldnt be richer than about 11.7 on an oft petrol tune

see the colored links below for what to log etc

Noob concern: i am still learning about tuning and i was wondering if some one could take a look at my data log i would appreciate. I was cruising with a few hits on the throttle. Note my frs is A/T. I noticed the car feels and drives a bit different but i cant quite put my finger on it. Also, i notice a slight fuel smell. I am running the stage 1 93 tune. I guess my question is are all my readings normal or is there anything off? i cant find a forum which tells you what are the normal readings for the tune. Steve99 said something about afr being at 11.7 but in my logs it goes upto 20. is that normal? Thanks in advance! http://datazap.me/u/itswill/frscruise1at?log=0&data=1-5

Warning, I've only been looking at this for a couple months.
Take my input with that in mind.

Afr going up to 20 when coasting in gear is what my car does, I don't see any problems with it as that's just the car cutting fueling while coasting.

If this is an ots oft tune, you are probably fine. I didn't see anything I would be concerned about but mine is an MT so the logs look a bit different.

I hope this question isn't too dumb.

Can / will the openflash tablet, say with a stage 2 UEL tune, fix the throttle response / calibration? I feel like the 0-100% sweep of my throttle pedal is more like 18% when I first touch it, wide open by 60% pedal, and the rest is just dead space. I wish it was linear! The touchiness makes smoothly moderating throttle a pain, and if the OFT will fix this I'm so sold on it.

As I recall, there is at least one thread on here where throttle remapping in the oft tunes was discussed, and I'm sure it's come up a few times in other posts. I can tell you the stage 1 oft throttle feels very different than what my car was stock (I have a '13 MT). I'd say it feels more linear especially at lower throttle levels. I'd recommend trying some more searching if you were looking for more details.

i just got mine, i did the stage tune and i definitely feel the difference. When i tap the acceleration the car responds. on the stock tune i had to step on the pedal almost all the way in to get that push. on the tune its quite different i get more throttle response. The car doesnt feel sluggish like before

I just purchased a used OFH and was thinking the OFT would be my best option moving forward. Anything I should look out for when buying a used one? Specific generations or serial numbers? Do they all work the same? And should I get new versions of the OTS tunes from Shiv? Thanks guys!

make sure previous owner un-married the device from his car. they are all the same, kinda like a new dvd player on shelf @ bestbuy. the jury is still out on the v3.0/1 tunes versus the 2.076 tunes for pre-17 MY cars.
