No chance. Over-engineering things makes them expensive, and car manufacturers are all about the bottom line. This engine has maybe 325 in it before it pops one thing or another.

Nobody knows this yet...You can't assume anything on a new engine. People thought you couldn't even boost thing thing a few weeks ago because of its compression, and now look. Same people thought the F20 engines couldn't handle more than 300whp back when the S2000's came out, and now they are putting over 800whp on stock block.

I don't ever recall saying you couldn't boost this sucker. Seems I recall saying that boost is no issue on the high compression and people thought I was nutso.

I wonder how much the engine in this car differs from the FA20 DIT they are using in Japan. I imagine the short blocks are very similar perhaps with just different pistons. The DIT is 10.6:1 CR versus the 12.5:1 in the NA version.

Getting ready to head back to the shop, hopefully finish installing the turbo and then the tune. These guys are awesome. Gonna be a gooood day!
