Thanks @glamcem, we really appreciate the testing, video, and information. Can't wait to get these even stronger, more capable race splitters going! The splitter ties really stiffen the splitter up.

You guys will be the first to know .

Below is the assembly in CAD with all hardware involved. I will be getting quotes and everything over the next week, I would expect the whole race add on to be finished sometime in July for FT86 to sell in early August .

Another photo I took today was me standing on the splitter. This is NOT an accurate test as the load is concentrated vs. spread out over the whole area of the splitter like it sees in real life. You can see the whole car dips down with my weight on it, as well as maybe a 1/4" dip in the middle of the splitter where all the load is. It will get even stronger with the production pieces.

I was a bit concerned when I saw your development parts, but after seeing this mockup with the non-GIGANTIC mounting hardware I'm sold, It looks fantastic. Can't wait till it gets released

Checked this out in person yesterday on @Wonderbar's car - it looks great. Pictures don't do it justice.

I'm not sure the braces will work with the FR-S grill. I will run some FEA to see how thin I can make that part without breaking/bending the aluminum but I can't promise anything.

A new batch of splitters should be ready in a few weeks and then the splitter ties should be ready early/mid August. Still in the quoting phase but will start ordering next week.

Thanks!
Eric

I'm sure you meant to say "I'm not sure the braces will work with the FR-S grille without modification." Right? Because a Dremel against that thin plastic would be like a hot knife through butter. And the grille, as I have previously mentioned, is removable and only $35 as far as needing to go back to stock goes.

That is exactly what I meant. I have since shrunk that bracket down an 1/8th of an inch in an effort to fit through the grill. It will be a close fit but I can't shrink the bracket any further.
