@humfrz yea, I'm doing much better aside from headaches occurring easily and fairly often. That and missing my car a lot. I saw a white out frs or brz on my way home from south center, made me pretty sad. Ugh I miss her so much >.<

Ah the joys of Tacoma... you can sue him for the diminished value of your vehicle in small claims. The process really isn't that hard, you need to get an appraisal. I highly recommend Future Forensics based out of Seattle, they got me max dollar out of my accident. If there is even a smudge of frame damage you can pretty much ream this guy and make him wish he never hit you. Insist on seeing the repair order. The shop that fixed my car also said no frame damage, but the repair order said otherwise. I can't stress enough taking him to small claims for the lost value. It may seem like a headache, but in the end it will pay off.

Dunno if he posted here yet but from one of my fellow colorado members, early september:

He was excited to get his 10series but before he even got his plates, he hit a deer at night. Its almost finished being repaired as of last week.

hope your repairs go by quicker.

Man.. What a bummer. Wonder if those deer whistle contraptions you can install on your car would minimize this?

We had a long discussion on our fb page and we definitely were all wondering if it was totaled but insurance company decided not to go that route. But the total bill was really big, dont remember the exact price tho

i wondered the same thing. My ex had hit a deer too and we were about to buy a set of these whistles for her car since she lives in the mountains, but never got around to getting it.

Hey, I got rear ended a few days before you. Definitely sucks so I know the feeling. In my case, the other guy was fully insured & if he hadn't been, the state would have partially paid out.

Hope you aren't still hurt. The car can be fixed or replaced. Your body can't be fixed so easily nor you replaced.

I'm going to the doctor in a little while because I still have a slight headache even after taking exedrin and when I move I get sharp pains near the upper/middle of my back. I feel like my head rest punched the back of my head my ears even felt numb. I have such shitty luck..
Sorry for the double post, but in this instance, health insurance isn't involved. Your auto insurance is. The medical bills get billed via your open claim # up to the limit specified in your auto policy.

Early in the thread, you'd mentioned something about your health insurance changing & whatnot. Thing is, in an auto accident, medical costs arising from that accident aren't handled by health insurance but by your auto insurance, so your health insurance changing or whatnot wouldn't ever come into play.

Ooh! No no I meant that we had changed health care providers so I didn't have a personal doctor to go to, we've been slacking on getting all that together so I didnt want to go because I thought it'd be a pain in the ass to set up!
