When you say 02456 and 02063 do you mean 102456 and 102063? Given the later orders that would seem to make sense. I don't understand their numbering system because there couldn't have been thaaat many orders.

My dealer has an allocation of five, I think. I'm #1, ordered on 3/1 and this morning (didn't bother calling yesterday) the dealer got me my VIN (ends in 85, dammit) and ETA .

I figured I'd give an east-cost response: Nothing yet. The rep figured I was calling about a BRZ. They must be getting tons of calls. She told me the car should get here end of May/ beginning of June.

I have a VIN and ETA too, will update when my dealer gets in with exact info!

Now I'm a bit frustrated, I have a VIN, but no ETA because of options being installed I'm told

Louisiana is east coast (sorta)! Sweet. I'm pretty much calling everyday from now on, lol.

My order number is 9 digits in length. I assume the last 5 digits are important (since they were posted by the guy above me), and that the first 4 are perhaps region or dealer-specific.

With the supposed 5,000 BRZs we're getting for this year however, perhaps it's only the last 4 digits that matter?

I'm going to guess this is not the case...I placed my order on 4/6 and the last 5 of my VON are 04000. Based on what I've seen so far, this is a rather low last 5, yet was placed over a month after the pre-orders started.

The VON system is probably used across all Subaru orders, not just BRZ. I'm guessing the beginning of the VON number identifies your dealer and the end identifies the order number at that dealer.

I was wondering what the first 4 digits are myself. But between the 11 pre-orders we have, there are 3 different series for the first 4 digits at the same dealer. So, we can't assume that the last 4 digits are in any sort of series unless the first 3 or 4 digits are the same.

Just called I'm still on the wait list setup the bi weekly email.

I put in my preorder on the 9th for a Crystal Black Silica BRZ Premium 6MT at Annapolis subaru. I'm 9th in line but maryland seems to be only getting something like 30 cars. I figure that I'll get mine by the end of june due to my color choice.

Anyone else preorder from Annap?
