o.0 Did he tell you the colour for the Auto's too? Caused I ordered a AT asphalt at first, but changed it to a manual last second. One of the MT blue is for Jay, and if the other blue isn't someone else's car I might have to choose between a MT Blue or AT DGM

Ryan did not tell me what the colors of the Auto will be. But I'm pretty sure they will have an Asphalt in Auto for you if thats what you really want. I forgot though, what spot are you in the lineup? I really want a blue one bad!

I'm pretty sure its safe to assume they will have an Asphalt in Auto simply because Ahmed did mention they will be getting an Asphalt to Mr.Jay. So logically it has to be an Auto.

I'm so confused lol, I'm 5th in line I think (preordered in december), but I did change the Asphalt to MT very last second, I think it was like the day before the deadline, so it might have been too late. I thought Mr Jay was getting a blue iirc. I'll let you have the blue if you want, I don't mind Red or White. My colour choices were Gray, Blue, White, Red.

Yeah I really do want the blue color. That's the one I have my heart set on. Its that or red for me. The white is my last choice. But I really want a solid color. I've had a black Integra and my current silver Audi. I really want to change to an actual color instead of just a shade.

So if you still want Asphalt, they do have it but I'm pretty sure its an Auto.

Yeah, that AT asphalt probably is mine. I didn't want the White at first because it's such a over used colour for cars here, almost half the performance cars I see on the road are white, but I really liked Initial D and it was one of the reason I started to follow this car a few years back. So getting a white one wouldn't be that bad, I can turn it into a panda xD

Man it all just boils down to what I care more about transmission or colour of the car. All the good things I'm hearing about the AT is making me want it, but I also want to learn how to drive a manual. Gah I'm so confused lol

I feel the same as you do. The transmission is more important to me then the color. I won't be getting an Auto. I've driven Auto my entire life so far and I'm really looking forward to learning to properly drive an manual just like you. White is also a good color for this car because its a special color. It's an extra $250 because it has pearl flake in it. In theory, its probably going to be the "rare" color on an FR-S in the future. If you think about resale value, its probably the better choice.

And I too have read many things about how the Auto is really good. But I've made my mind up about getting a manual. It's time I learn to do it and quite frankly, I don't want to pay extra for the Auto. I don't have the extra cash.

Anson,I strongly suggest you get a manual....this car is a little underpowered as it is...the auto will emphasize it that much more. Manuals are so much more involving. Especially in a car if this breed. I can take u for a lesson in my wrx if i have to

Not to rain down on anyone's parade but I don't really get buying an FR-S as an Automatic.

I realize the automatic transmission is great but I think the FR-S feels more like a stripped down / raw driving kind of car. I could definitely see some BRZ Limited people going Automatic.

To each their own... I just hope everybody loves their cars!

=) thanks. Everyone I know keeps calling the AT a slush box, even my dad was like "wtf why are you getting a automatic sports car? If you want an auto go buy a prius" xD Aside from everyone criticizing the auto, I really do want to learn how to drive manual, cause when I learned how to drive, it was on an auto and it was the most boring thing ever, all you have to do is press the gas pedal. You can't communicate with your car.
