It will not work. The Jackson Racing CARB Tune uses the MAF sensor for determining load and has a particular piping setup for their MAF. Where as the piping on the Kraftwerks kit is different and most of these tunes are based on Speed Density. Plus without actually owning a Jackson Racing Kit, I do not think you could even order a CARB tune from them legally.

I bought a used Kraftwerks kit but without ECUTEK. Can I purchase an Ecutek with tune from you guys? Please excuse my ignorance but what exactly makes any of these kits CARB legal.
Is there any chance I can pass Maryland emmisions with this kit installed?

Unknown on the rules and regulations and areas of Maryland. You would need to do some research to know what is legal or not.

As for actual CARB certification, you need to purchase the tune directly from the company that had it approved and have it installed on their kit they had CARB approved.

So what is the exact side of the check valve we should use? I ordered those plastic ones in a post earlier and they seem a bit small for the 1/2" hose for the radium catch can crank case side. I probably need just a bigger one to match that size. I assume that plastic one is for the stock hose on the crank side.

I put mine on the 5/8" hose that goes from the catch can to the crank case nipple on the block.

So as long as it's somewhere on that long hose coming from the catch, it doesn't matter where the valve is placed as long as it's pointing towards the crank case? Also, double spring clamping both sides, or worm clamps? This might be worthy of making a post specifically about it.

You want air to flow from the crank to the catch can, not the other way around. I have no clamp on the block nipple since the pressure stops at the check valve. Put clamps on the check valve obviously.

@supertwo, yes we can sell the Ecutek and tune. It's hard to speak about passing in MD as we do not know the smog or vehicle regulations there.

looking good. are you monitoring mafv? what's your voltage at 7400?

also, are you getting tip-in knock when driving?

No knock at WOT or tip in only in a small area down at 2100RPM. MAF Volts have been around 4.7 - 4.8 at 7400RPM. I also removed about 3 degrees of timing from 5000rpm - 7600RPM until I get the AFR's right.
