Well they use a Garrett turbo but I know you mean their system and not turbo design lol.

Honestly the drain only allows so much room for you to angle it, but It seems to be enough. 20 degrees is not that much. You can see the angle of mine kind of in this picture. Just take a look at how straight up your setup is and you will see the difference.

That looks just right.. so hot coming out the rear outlet, one closest to block and the cool water coming in the front. wish I would have gone with the water cooled BB, just seems like they'll last longer lol. Thanks for the correction I did mean JDL's design on the manifold lol. '

What the hell am I saying.. man I think this oil leak has got my head all warped lol. I see the manifold design doesn't' have the slightest thing to do with you being able to clock the center hosing lol.

yeah knew what you meant, just wanted to clarify in case someone else came by and read it. Yep thats the way they are routed. The side close to the block I ran to the coolant port right under the TB (where the front coolant hose off the TB runs to), and the hotside I ran to the back coolant hard line pipe on the driver side rear of the motor (where the side coolant hose off the TB ran to).

Those of you that have this kit...did you have to grab anything extra? I want to make sure once my kit gets here I have everything before I tear my car apart.

Lol.. just grab some hi temp thread sealant.. some Loctite for bolts you don't want backing out. You'll also need a new gasket for the manifold/head as JDL provides the one for the turbo and the downpipe to overpipe..Aside from that, all you need is in the kit. Also confirm with them you have plenty of vacuum hose for the bov, they threw some in there for me but I don't know if its something they do all the time.

Let me know what you have or if you think you may need something else and i'll confirm. Let me look over, I think I mentioned in the OP what found myself needing. Also a little diagram I got from the guys at JDL telling me what I needed to apply sealant to. Check out post #11, first page.

Just got of the phone with the Ronnie from JDL.. the guy heard I had an issue and immediately called me to offer some drain line gaskets. With service like this, I wouldn't think twice about ordering from these guys.

You mean the gaskets you're having a problem with? Do they have the non paper ones?

No the one I'm having issues with is the turbo oil drain. They provide you with that one, oem from precision or Garrett whichever you have. I'm referring to the manifold gasket, the one that goes between the motor and your header. The guys at JDL have it with some new lock nuts.

For my case, after talking to Ronnie today they suggest applying some loctite in the flange bolts to avoid them backing out, could be what happened to me who knows.

Also I was able to find one of them oil drain gaskets locally so I'll be installing it tonight. Couldn't hurt to try as I don't want the car even thinking about leaking, just till I receive the flange I ordered.

Let us know the results!

Hopefully @JDLAutoDesign can chime in on when the oil cooler kit will appear on their site!

Also, @yomny, do you have the UEL manifold? If so, did you run into issues installing the shorter side?

No I have EL, but knowing these guys.. it'll probably be a good fit. Just get it in evenly.. you cant really get one side in then the other because the studs will interfere.. I placed the gaskets on the studs/engine and raised the manifold straight up..

PS-installed the new gasket I picked up yesterday.. lets see.
