maybe they should put a 3.5 V6 in there like in the Evora. Sure it will be a lot heavier, but it could be a good matchup

Has anyone considered there are already stroker kits for the EJ engines? The BC kit brings it to 2.29L.....slap some cams and ITB's on there and you have a hi response torquey engine that can rev decently high....pretty awesome if you ask me....

still the 4A-GE would be a best candidate to be the heart of the FT86 make a more improvement to have a more grunt out of a 1.6 or maybe a 3S-GE.

ruin the handling of the car. look up 2jz s2k. amazing car but so much for the 50/50 weight distribution. but if your just looking for a drag car, anything is possible.

GMR is too short...

when i lived in CA, we'd run canyons in a loop, roughly 150 miles (including all highway/freeway connectors).
