Yeah I wouldn't mind a drive either. North Carolina is good because it's pretty much in the middle between ny and fl.
I've never driven on my own out of state before ^_^ |

Virginia International Raceway. Right in the middle of all the states you choose.

OP make a poll with a few choices... Otherwise I vote VIR because group discounts for track and lodging.

Lowes Motor Speedway, ZMax, and alot of places with very big names in racing are based here in Charlotte. I really think that Concord (basically Charlotte) could be a very viable option. Also, I know of some shops who would be willing to bring their dyno to any meets too.
If you decide to do down here, I could get some names of people to contact possibly.

I would be interested in TN simply because it's the only state on the list I haven't been to.

East TN Gatlinburg area, already used to having cruises and car shows and very freindly. Accommodations all over the place including private cabins in the mountains to hotels on the strip. Family friendly environment, stuff for everyone.. Mini golf, mini golf, mini golf. Tail of the dragon. For those that have been to myrtle beach, it's kind of like MB but in the mountains. More centralized for all east coasters, kind of a mid point coming from up in New England down to Florida. Off of I-75.. Ummm.... Because racecar..

I like TN because its likely the closest (timewise) As I said before, Bristol is almost in VA/NC anyways.
I could also vote for NJ because gas prices are lower there, or so I have heard. |

As much as I would love Bristol (it's 10 minutes fr my house), there is no tuner support in the area any more. Nopi Nationals pulled out of Bristol because of how much flack the tuners were given in town (that was after the 2nd year). Bristol is a border town with VA and TN parts and VA laws (and cops) are not tuner friendly for the most part - town and state. All of the restaurants are located in the VA side with the exception of a few in downtown. I've been pulled over for my VA legal tint...twice haha There are no local shops - Ride Revolutions (who did Hulk Hogan's supras, etc) is no longer in business. It's all 4WD shops nowadays. The rest of TN is tuner friendly, though!

The Dragon is the last place for a large group of cars, as someone always totals their car being dumb or many get tickets. Keep it on a racetrack.
VIR in Virginia, Road Atlanta, Georgia. Asheville, NC or Charlotte. Talk to Jeff at Essex Performance about what test tracks they use down there. (Ap racing)
