FYI - I'm still around but I'm just busy these days with work. I normally check this forum while I'm at work and things have been kinda hectic.

But I am still here as always! And I really do plan on buying this car when it shows up!!

That's good then. I didn't want you guys to feel like I'm completely gone or anything.

I pretty much post on here while things are slow at work (like today for example) so sometimes I don't have much time post.

Anyway, I can't wait for the cars to showup. I'm super excited to finally get a new car after waiting since March of 2011. The closer we get to June 1st, the more excited I get.

I definitely want to see a demo car, if not drive it i need to at least sit in one.

I know it's bigger than the MX-5.. i test drove one (mx-5) on the weekend for about 20 minutes...HUGE fun..but i don't think i could sit in it for any longer than an hour.

I'd like to know HOW much bigger it is inside

Hey Guys, I just got some good news sent to me from my sales rep.

Here is what he tells me. Again I'm number 6 in the line of preorders and I requested a manual. I asked him to tell me what colors they will be getting because they know they will be recieving 10 cars. Here is what he said:

Out of the first 10 coming in, 5 are manual transmissions. The colors are: 2 x White, 2 x Blue and 1 x Red.


He basically then goes on to tell me that I have a good chance getting the blue colour I want. I'm pretty happy either way because my colour choices are Blue, followed by Red, followed by White. I prefer an actual color but I will be happy if I end up with white.

I just hope the first 5 people all don't go for manual cars because then I'll have to wait! But he did mention that a few people want Autos.

Half are autos?...why i ask..why! Even if i stick with the frs i doubt ill get first shipment now. Reds my first choice.. but if one of the 7 people ahead of me want the red manual im out of luck

That's what I was told yeah. It does suck but I think the dealership (as they have said) just gets whatever they're being sent. I don't think they had much choice on this. If they did they would just ask us all up front and order what we wanted.

And sorry If I do take the red one. My preference is blue, red, then white. So it just depends on what's left when my turn is up. Again, Ryan did say that some people do want automatics though and some people may just pull the deposits entirely because the colour they want is not there.

So we will see what happens. I'm definatly at this point though.
