Was at a Porsche autocross event in my fr-s and someone yelled "I love your car" on one of the turns. Not sure if they were a track worker at the time or a bystander.

I have had people try and argue that my car was AWD also.

My newest "sweet ride bro" encounter is definitely the most epic (for myself) so far.
Pull into a gas station and a guy I know through local meets pulls in a few seconds later. Now we are no where near being friends, just friendly towards each other considering we know the same people and are into cars. He asks me if he can drive it since he's looking at getting one for a dd and most dealers won't let you drive more than a mile or two around here. I say sure, as long as he lets me follow/lead him in his car. He says sure to my surprise, next thing I know I'm sitting in a graphite grey GT-R with bolt on's with the keys in my hand. Probably the most fun 30 minutes of my life, he went sliding, I went 160. I definitely won't top that experience in my lifetime haha Sent from my iPhone while driving a Prius in the carpool lane.... alone. |

Was driving through nyc on saturday, I had my windows open because it was nice out. A cabbie drove up next to me and starts goin, nice car is that the one they sell as a scion as well? I said yeah, he asked if it was fast, I said not in a straight line. He asked me to light the tires up at the next green. I laughed and told him have a nice day.

The amount of neck breaking I get while driving is hilarious. I went to a local car meet and my car was called the batmobile because of my Valenti taillights lol.

Today I stopped in a little turn out circle in front of my apartment complex to get out and check my mail. As I'm checking a couple of guys walk past me and I turn to go back to the car. As we are going down the stairs they split up and each go down a different side checking it out and talking to each other about how sweet it is so I unlock it and say thanks for the compliments! Then get in and drive away lol

I've never seen a Subaru ad for this car on TV or radio. All of the Subaru advertising that I've seen and heard are all about the wonders of AWD so I'm not surprised when people assume that the BRZ is AWD.

Having seen the SVX in person I know that guy is not just a baffoon but a complete baffoon. The SVX in my opinion was Subaru's version of what a Japanese Delorean would look like, it had some of the design cues from the Delorean but it was a lot faster and it's sales were on par with Deloreans too. The SVX looks cool bu it's one of those cars that may look cool but is probably a nightmare to own. |

I was parked next to an Evo 8 at my barber. The guy comes out and we start to chat about cars. He commented on how my car is great looking and a head turner. I told him an evo 8 isn't exactly shabby and would probably destroy mine in a race.
