Being a ASE mechanic, you know what I saw there? A tech doing his job by making sure the spare tire was properly inflated.. You would be suprised how many times I've seen techs check mark that they did it, and never do..

i've always wondered about bootcamp, how much memory will that take up? i'm too lazy to search, spoon feed me
The BlackVue records in mp4 format. There is always free converting software to convert if need be. Bootcamp partitions your hardrive and you tell it how much harddrive space to partition for windows(will not delete current data). I partitioned 50GB. After its all set up correctly all u do when you want to use windows is restart the computer and when it reboots you hold down alt/option and select the windows partition. When you want to boot back to Mac OS just click restart and it will boot up on the Mac OS

I have the series 2. I have the motion sensor turned off on mine. From other videos I have seen the motion sensor works good. With boot camp the only way to transfer files from Mac to windows or vice versa you would have to store them on an external hd or USb drive. I save my files on an external hd with no issues. You could pay for VMware Fusion or Parrallels to have Mac and windows run at the same time where you could transfer files by drag and drop.

Search BlackVue on here and yu will see how to install it and find out about another part to buy/install so you dont have to worry about battery drain. Currently I just have mine plugged into the cigarette lighter in the glove box.

I'm curious if you could get into trouble for posting these kids of videos, only because it was on private property and the people didn't know they were being recorded (with audio as well).

I can only speak for the State of WI. In WI it is not illegal.

Video quality wise, is gopro better than the BlackVue? I think they both claim 1080p but from what I've see gopro quality seems better. Thinking about getting a dash cam

GoPro really isn't a dash cam. It can be used as one, sure, but it's not really designed to 'integrate'.

It's legal since it your property that your protecting.A dealership is not private property when they have your property inside it. there have. Been some lawsuits where they tried to get these types of videos thrown out but no judge ruled in there favor as the camera was on the persons property. Its all a money game though too and very political.
