I ordered a Five Axis edition FR-S a few weeks ago in raven. It is supposed to be in at the end of august. I went with the S5:f wheel in gunmetal. Ill post pics when it comes in. Has anyone installed the push button start like whats in the japanese 86? Or has anyone installed remote start? Im thinking about doint both of these. Im in AZ and you dont want to sit in a black car after its been in the summer sun for very long without cooling it off first.

Not sure if push to start is even a possibility. I don't know how you would get around the steering wheel lock out. It would be super lame to have a push button start that only worked if the key was in the ignition.
![]() Remote start would be nice. I put in a Viper Alarm that I could add this to later but it was such a PITA on my tC (manual). You had to do some stupid sequence everytime you turned off the car and that only worked half of the time. Brake, Clutch, Neutral, Release Clutch, then E brake. Or maybe it was clutch then brake. It was a PITA and with as small as the cabin is on this car it cools off super fast anyway. I may change my mind on our first ice storm though. With the frameless door windows I don't know how I will even get into the car to get the defroster going. It's been a couple years since we had a bad one but when you have a 1/4" sheet of ice on the car I suppose I won't want to even chance the roads.

Can anyone with a whiteout take some pics of the kit the ones I saw on here as said make the paint look off. I am hesitant to get the kit as it does not seem to blend well on the white as where you hardly notice the lines where the kit are on say the black.

If they have the right factory color code and it's a quality shop you shouldn't have a problem

Maybe its just me since I am use to full replacement kits but the lines right near where the foglights would go kinda bothers me. In pics it looks like it stands out a lot. I dunno maybe its just me |

Hell, I still haven't received my touch up paint for my Raven that I was supposedly going to get from the dealer. The dealer told me that all the FR-S colors are new to Toyota, even the Raven and they would not have touch up paint on hand for some time.

True but I know they charge quite a bit for paint versus having a reputable local shop do the paint.

Any deliveries over the weekend?
@Twiggyb is the closest to the full package that's in the wild. Everything minus the springs. This counts as an edition car in my book because the springs are too mild of a drop. @Synack is still minus the wheels and chose to not do springs either. Can't wait to see the unveiling of the first boosted Five Axis Edition. @tnt is still waiting for the package. Argento.... silvers are always a tough color. You very well may be the first one in the wild once you get it. @digital_assassin, I'm still waiting for the springs and wheels. The wheels are at 5:AD in Huntington Beach waiting to ship. I am currently planning to powdercoat them flat black. Springs are sitting at the dealer and have been for weeks with no notice. The H Techs will likely never be put on this car, just too mild of a drop. Coilovers are the answer.
