I doubt it. If anything I would imagine the extra pressure and heat would make them more prone to wearing out the DI seals.

Which reminds me, on my first day at NJMP (Saturday) I got a CEL for P0351, which is the coilpack warning and some people have seen it with DI seals going bad. It went away overnight and didn't return during any of my Sunday sessions. I couldn't feel, hear, or smell any issues, even when the light was on, so I just kept going, but I should probably take it to a dealer to get it checked out.

Check the wiring for a short against the fuel rail protector on the passenger side. I just blew out (EFI "IGN") fuse and the wiring diagram shows coils 1 and 3 are wired to that. I need to dig into the harness but it's a dead short because the fuse blows instantly.

NA Summit Point (Main) / 1:26:259 / Josh Adams / June 8, 2014 / Ohlins Road and Track, ACT Prolite Clutch/Flywheel, DSS CF Drive Shaft, Whiteline Pos. Shift Kit & Diff Cradle, Perrin Motor Mounts, Driveway Labs Rear Diffuser, Essex AP Racing Sprint BBK, Hawk DTC-60, K&N Drop In Filter, Crawford Performance AOS, Hoosier R6 225R45, 70lbs. of ballast

[ame="http://youtu.be/3Cj0EHnLImQUnfortunately"]http://youtu.be/3Cj0EHnLImQ[/ame]

Unfortunately, this was the only session on the Hoosiers I got in yesterday. It started raining in the afternoon and I packed it in early. The car should pretty easily have a low to mid 1:25 in it, maybe even a 1:24, which would put me close to the lap record for TTD. I had a 1:25 going for just a little bit according to my data logger, but I went through the chute (turn 4) faster than I've gone before (104 on entry and didn't drop below 101 through the turn) but I couldn't get the car settled quick enough, which you really need to do on this turn before you slam the brakes) and ended up going off track just a little. This, unfortunately, disqualified my entire session so I did not get the second place that my 1:26.259 would have gotten me for the day.

Video of going off course:

Good news is I didn't get any CEL's this weekend, so I think my last event may have just been a fluke. And I only put one heat cycle on the Hoosiers so they should still be pretty good when I hit VIR next month where I think I have a decent chance at winning TTD.

Yup - that's on Thunderbolt only and a very rare configuration at that.

Virginia International Raceway (Full Course) / 2:15:521 / Josh Adams / July 20, 2014 / Ohlins Road and Track, ACT Prolite Clutch/Flywheel, DSS CF Drive Shaft, Whiteline Pos. Unfortunately, my camera wasn't working during my best session, so I don't have any video. Official results can be found here though: http://timingscoring.drivenasa.com/N...n-TT-FINAL.pdf

I managed to lose my rear diffuser to some roadkill in the middle of the night on my way to the beach the week before the race, which is why it was no longer listed. Was still able to be fast enough to win TTD on both Saturday and Sunday, so fresh Hoosiers here I come!

I do have video of my best lap from Saturday, which was a 2:16.587
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooCdWxMc-nY"]NASA MA (Heat Wave) - 7/19/14 - VIR - TTD Session 4 - YouTube[/ame]

Unfortunately, my CEL light came back (P0351 was the code if I remember correctly) and on my way home I started noticing some popping noises coming from the engine bay, so I think I might be having some of the dreaded DI seal issues. I'm at the dealer right now trying to get this addressed. Also, since I updated my data logger I can track my oil temps. I was averaging 270-280f, so I think it might be time for an oil cooler.
