I don't want to deal with illegal inspections, driving around with that crazy noise, or lose my fuel efficiency for a fractional gain. I would give up my warranty only for FI. If you are really racing and need every bit of power, that is another story. I am not racing. |

One other thing. The OFT tunes make noticeably more power with a header than without. The difference between stock versus stock+OFT feels less than the difference between stock+OFT and OFT+header. In other words, I wouldn't get a tune unless you're getting a header too. Also, e85 + header = nice.

But it's OK, we all have our opinions of what something is worth. Back in the early days of these cars a tune was all but required if you didn't want to have DI injector seal failures... Quote:
MAF scaling is the simplest part of the tuning and you SHOULD be checking it even with a completely stock setup. That's the whole point of the open tunes. |

Considering how good our OEM dampers are and how most people buy adjustable coils and never touch the adjustment lowering springs are just fine for a majority of owners

Am I the only one who doesn't mind having a steel shift knob in cold weather? NYC gets pretty cold... :|
It does kinda suck, but I get over it after a few minutes. |

I put a sleeve over mine for winter mornings or summer during the day. I could probably stand the cold but when it gets 100+ here it's brutal trying to grab it hot
