My FIVE:AD spoiler, aka 5 Axis or 3D carbon, has about the same amount of spacing on both sides that yours has on the right. Maybe you need to press down harder on it.
This is the second spoiler I have installed, see the next post, and both had the same spacing on both sides.

You're not kidding man I was giving it everything I had trying to make it budge. I know my neighbors thought I was making love to my 86s rear

Thanks for sharing, it's a curiosity that there was a bit of a gap on your second spoiler and a bit of a hangover on the first. This spoiler is really hard to get perfect

Here's the result after hair dryer and elbow grease. Still have gaps but at least they're nearly equal on both sides. I think I can live with that.

TSW Nurburgring 17x8 +35 w/ GT Champiro UHP 225/45R17 (though technically this was done yesterday)

This WAS actually done today though. Smoked side markers with white and amber LEDs. I've wired it so that the white LED is on while the parking lights/headlights are on, and the amber LED is on when I'm using the turn signal/hazard lights.

I picked up my car yesterday after install of new injectors, fuel pump, clutch kit, e85 kit and custom tune. I'm over 300 hp now, and the car is a pure pleasure to drive.

You may already know this but just in case you don't want to attract unwanted attention at night:

California
VEHICLE CODE
SECTION 25100-25110

25100. (a) Except as provided in subdivisions (b) and (d), every
vehicle 80 inches or more in overall width shall be equipped during
darkness as follows:
(1) At least one amber clearance lamp on each side mounted on a
forward-facing portion of the vehicle and visible from the front and
at least one red clearance lamp on each side mounted on a
rearward-facing portion of the vehicle and visible from the rear.
(2) At least one amber side-marker lamp on each side near the
front
and at least one red side-marker lamp on each side near the
rear.

Don't know about there but white lights on the side here would get you pulled over the minute they saw you.

Hmm, to be honest I never really considered it. I suppose I could rewire to keep the amber lights on constantly and use the white lights as additional turn signals. I guess I'll go with "ask for forgiveness..." method for the time being. Thanks for looking out!

Looks good. When installed correctly there should be a a small gap on both sides. If you are referring to the hangover on the right side of my first spoiler, that was caused by the ahole hitting the spoiler. Before the accident the first spoiler had about the same gap on both sides as the second.
