No, AVO correct me if I'm wrong....
The design happened in Japan and the parts manufacturing in Thailand.

AVO, how's the stock clutch holding up with this kit? I noticed it makes a bit more torque than other kits at similar PSI.

Prepare on doing a clutch soon after doing this kit. It is just a reality of adding this much more power over stock. The new ACT Street Disc/Streetlight flywheel combo should fit the bill perfect.

LOL that was not my intent, I bet almost every vendor on here that can get this kit. I just think their clutch products are very high quality and will suit this kit perfect.
We are installing this clutch/flywheel, when we are installing the AVO kit we have on order. |

I don't think I'm the one to be asked about clutches. I've been driving high-powered AWD cars for, well, decades, and due to that I tend to be very finicky about rev-matching through the gears, easing into the clutch, and in general not beating the clutch up. I'm not saying I was always like this - I think I was replacing the clutch on my old 280Z every 6 months when I had it several many lots of years ago.
So far, the car has held up well on the stock tires at the drift events, but I'm not sure I could say the same if I was running the much stickier 245's. With the amount of torque the car can make at even Stage 1, it's going to get down to whether you want the tires or the clutch to be the weak point, and if you upgrade the tires with the kit on, the clutch may become the weak point. |

1.
Maybe I overlooked the answer but I would like to see an official response to the following questions: Is the turbo ball-bearing? What kind of modified (Garrett?) turbo is it? The intercooler is rated for how many hp? Many thanks. 2. Another question which is not directly related to the AVO turbo kit: Is there also an aftermarket kit to strengthen the auto transmission? |
