Yeah the SUV example was extreme and cars like the GenCoupe and the FR-S/BRZ are pretty much really 2 seaters but have the emergency-only rears so it's a good compromise. In my case either will be a 2+1, as there is no way anyone will be able to sit behind me.

The new GT has been claimed by some reviewers to match the handling performance/ride quality of the new M3. The 2014/15 Mustang is supposed to be a totally new car. They're apparently getting away from the bulky/vintage body style and moving to something slimmer and light(er) weight. Time will tell but I'm pretty excited about it. There's been talk that they might revive the SVO. So there's a chance we may end up seeing a lighter, smaller, turbo 4 cylinder Mustang in the near future. Could be interesting. |

Yeah, like the G37, but still a Z. (I'm not into all of the luxury aspects of the Skyline) I'm sure we won't see a 2+2 Z, you're right, that's what the G series is for. And yeah lol I totally agree, there's absolutely no leg room in a Supra for the back passengers, but in a pinch I can slide my seat all the way forward, be miserable, but still be able to drive 4 people from here to there if I have to. |

They actually confirmed the SVO also, it's supposed to use the same Ecoboost motor slated for the Next gen Focus RS (albiet with less horsepower so it doesn't start creeping on the V6). |

If Hyundai lightens up GC and puts 1.6L GDi turbo engine in it to make it go 38mpg, I would go test drive one seriously.

Awesome, so it's confirmed that 2015 will be the switch to the new model? 2014 will be the 50th anniversary of the car, are they going to offer that edition on the current body style or the new (yet to come style) It seems like they would offer the 50th anniversary on the new body style... but then again they might use it for the current body style since it's a hot item, and it may be a good way to say farewell to to that generation of the car. |

I love the idea of a new turbo 4 Mustang. I may just hold out for one. I wonder if they will keep the V8 and V6 and add the SVO or if they will switch the V6 over to just the SVO. Doesn't really seem like there should be a need for 3 variations. Unless they use the new F-150 twin turbo v6... that could get interesting.

That would be stupid on Hyundai's part. That engine is better off in the Veloster or something much lighter. A 2.0 liter GDI would've been a much better idea for the GC since it would probably come with 300hp/295tq with 34 mpg.

34 mpg is not good enough. Hyundai could make a RWD little brother of GC and put 1.6 GDI-T in it. Why not?

The smaller engine would have to work harder with more weight. The mpg would suffer worst than it is in the veloster

Veloster turbo is about 2850 lbs and still get 38 mpg with 1.6 GDI-T. Hyundai can make a small RWD for that weight if they wanted to. Someday I hope they do. And you guys will have more to compare with FRS/BRZ.
