I think it would be kind of a pain if you were putting people back there lol, instead of just putting one seat up for access you'd need to do both.

^ I do that already in my celica...I hate when people climb across. A mechanical driver seat is easy to move, now if they put a electric seat then it would get annoying.

...Also I almost never carry people in the back. It's just for the rare occasion that I do. As of right now It's usually my younger brother and his friend that sits in the back, and when I get this I'm loaning him the celica (So i dont have to pay insurance on two cars) So there SHOULDN't be anyone back there. But it's nice to have something functional just incase I need to pick someone up or something

I really see the back seat as a place to put my laptop/gym bag etc...

I don't expect a real human to fit back there. lol

Off-button doesn't quite do it for me, because the more aid junk they put in the car the more you need to sit there turning off a bunch of stuff every time you start the car. Switch off VSA, switch off rev-match... gets annoying.

That said, I wouldn't mind the hill assist tech where the car doesn't roll back on a hill though.

the hill start assist is neat. it's definitely more useful than auto rev matching. that said, i very, VERY rarely use it when i'm driving my friend's '10 Legacy 6MT.

I bet you really like the two-tone S2000 interiors. GPW with red/black interior is beautiful.:happy0180:

It get rediculosly hot in Brisbane, and the exposure in australia is way higher than in the states. Sometimes the seats in my 8 get so hot (black leather) that I burn my hand on my wheel and the shifter (alum bazzle on top) and my gf burnt her thigh on the seat (not Physically burnt skin that left a mark but way to hot to even touch let alone hold body part on)
That being said I would prefer mechanical (not electric) leather seats cus they are light and they don't get dirty. My old seats had stains from various beverages.. These ones I just wipe

^ My favorite thing about leather, you can just wipe liquids off.
Idk I'm torn, I like the way leather feels against the skin in the spring summer and fall. It's really hot in the summer but it cools off fast and I love driving topless on the hot days. Skin against cloth feels weird to me.

But a good cloth seat tends to be more comfortable to me as far as cushioning goes, and its sooooooo much better in the winter. Plus its lighter, and lighter is better

And leather may crack, but cloth STAINS. That's why I asked for white leather, or black cloth.

1. Limited-Slip

2. Sport seats. Not necessarily Recaro (though it'd be nice), but a well designed bucket seat with good bolstering and cloth and leather options. If Chevy can do it with the Cobalt SS (best seats I've ever been in), Toyota can do it

3. Sunroof. It may sound poser-like, but a good sunroof is a must for me after having owned my Mazda. I love it and it lets my stoner buddy smoke in the car and not bother me with the window noise or smoke. HAHA

4. Good brakes. Not just 4-wheel discs. A great set of calipers goes a long way. They can borrow them from the STI parts bin (WRX brakes suck in the cars I've driven.) I'd pay extra for STI brakes as an option so I don't have to do an full aftermarket upgrade later.

5. Traction Control OFF. The ability to full remove TC is on many American cars. Its on my Saturn Ion sedan 5-speed LE5. I love it cuz it used to be turbo and would light tires up into 3rd. I can turn it off on my Mazda6S. its wonderful chucking it into a canyon and feeling those tires claw for grip.

6. Race/Track pack. You can get all your cool navigation and MP3 touchscreen gadgetry in a package. Give me a track pack akin to the Gen Coupe with less crap. Hyundai did something wonderful by designing the 3.8 Race-Pack and 3.8 Track-Pack.

7. Optional stereo that is NOT Bose. As an audiophile, I am appalled that these companies go with Bose for cars. Give me eminence drivers with nice horns. Really, a decent stereo AS AN OPTION would be nice. I'm too old to upgrade, but want to hear my 90s tunes in clarity as I hoon the hell out of it on the back roads.

8. Launch Control/No Lift Shift. The Cobalt SS has it and its so easy to use. Perfect launches every time and the quarter mile was nearly a second different with the NLS on vs off. While best used for turbos, even on my NA car, my N2MB makes a huge difference.

9. Synchro-rev matching. Not hard int he grand scheme of things. It'll probably not happen on this car, though I could see the new Supra heading that direction.

I want Toyota to incorporate Saabs IQon system or a similar Android based infotainment interface.
Why? Because Android is here to stay, and such an interface would make it possible to keep your cars infotainment up to date even a decade after it's gone out of production. I think that it's stupid how many american cars are specifically compatible with for example the iPod, but don't have USB-plugs. That means that the cars entertainment system will be worthless as soon as Apple decide to switch plug. I mean, isn't it so that the iPod Touch isn't compatible with the old iPod docks?
My main motivation to have a system like this is Spotify compatibility. I love that I can have a playlist with my fave music, then log in on a friends computer or school computer and have it immediately available. I also love that I can turn my cellphone on, turn spotify on and then just have it download all the music on my playlist while I'm doing something else. I want my car to do the same! And if Spotify go bust, I want to download a different, yet similar program.

Just the idea of being able to download apps, perhaps having an app that reminds me about car shows in my country and the way there, or more economical routes on the GPS or whatever just feels sweet. Perhaps an app that enables me to save replays to Forza instead of GT.

Not a bad idea hogge. I would love IF they had the navi/stereo package together like most do, set it up so I can access Pandora Radio through the car's system. I love Pandora. and iHeart as well. that would be killer as both are here to stay.
