There is no boost creep on appropriately sized external wastegate applications. Some other factors like exhaust scavenging, blah blah. Mostly the wastegate.

I imagine with larger intake runners you would enjoy a little bit less knock/heat and more turbo efficiency. More flow = less boost needed. Remember 12psi @ 500cfm isn't the same as 12psi @ 750cfm, you could run more efficiently at like 8psi @ 750cfm. These are example numbers not actual figures.

From what I know, this motor is pretty well balanced, no issues with factory oiling equipment, very strong crank. Tolerances seem pretty darn good to be honest if you maintain it well.

So just remember that heat kills. Heat is a by-product of pressure. If you keep the heat down, you keep the dangerous pressures down. This is why I'm going with an EGT at some point to backup the wideband and re-affirm running 20+ psi is safe enough (for me).

No hate for chemical superchargers. Truth be told it's more efficient than turbos.

I hate the community that resorts to using it (outside pro-am/pro circuit racing). Seems like cheating, it's not, but it is =P

btw I used to spray 250 shot on my WS6.

You can almost bet on a retune being required...if it's required for an intake you can be damn sure it'll be required for a manifold. Lol

A new tune for an intake is normally required because it modifies the MAF location, flow, and/or pipe size. This new manifold doesn't modify the MAF, but will hopefully flow a ton of extra air and require a retune.

It would be idiotic to add a new manifold and not tune for it. Might as well have kept the stocker if you won't tune for it, nomsayin'?

This car ain't a Honda doe. It has fuel trims and can adjust for the additional air to a point. Like I said, I hope it flows considerably more air and does require a retune.
