Not going to lie, I was a little nervous with this. Nothing like putting a perfectly good compressor housing through the band saw.

Small update, got the final shape of the IC pipes laid out with the silicon couplers in place. Im going to wait till the Koyo radiator shows up to do the final welding. Turbosmart BOV also on order.

Koyo radiator came in, I am super excited about deciding to go with Koyo. The piece is beautiful and dropped right in not issues at all, wonderful. It even has a port for a temp gauge if I choose to ad one later on.

As far as I can measure with it now in the car it is not any wider or taller then the stock part, only thicker. 1.43" vs 0.64" at the core.

THis is simply awesome, fantastic work. Don't go into the drift armor drift bar thread, they'll accuse you of trying to kill pedestrians with your replacement for the front bumper bar.

It's more of air/oil separator, the inner baffle walls are now drilled with decreasing diameter holes. Ideally by the time the air reachs the inside tube all the oil has condensed on the baffles and fallen to the bottom. That pic is from the very beginning.

Its pretty much done for now, just looks like a can. I need so get some more sanding discs to smooth out the edges. Im finding that when powder coating parts even a clean TIG weld just looks lumpy when its covered.
