There are no restrictions on hours or times once you hit 16. It was all on the up-and-up...I've been paying into social security since second grade.

Thanks guys. I don't have much left over money at all, and I can never buy my girlfriend anything , but it is most definitely worth it! After about 6 months of saving what leftover money I have had, I am ordering my Invidia N1 exhaust very soon!

Anyway its safe to say mine should be up there eventually

Years and years ago I raised my score from the 500s to in the 700s, and bought my first new "fun" car as a reward, a 2005 WRX. I'm anal as shit about my credit now and it stays over 800.

If you need any advice on dealing with collections feel free to PM me! I never had a lot of debt, but I did have a lot of shitty roommates and carelessness in my youth, which in turn led to years-old negligent bills. It only takes a few to really jack you up, but the process for clearing your name is stacked way in your favor as a consumer. That is, if you know how to deal with them.

I'm 22, paid off the grocery-getter 2008 Ford Taurus a year ago...needed something that i actually liked, so i picked up my fr-s about a month ago...379 a month @ 3.7%, 8 yr warranty, and 70 a month insurance...keep your credit straight and your nose clean with the cops and your insurance shouldnt be too much

Glad to see all the young owners, I get lots of crap from people all the time for owning my car, but I pay for the monthly payments and gas as of now, and all the mods I do. I love this car so much.

You get a lot of crap because it isn't feasible to be 16, and own a brand new car, let alone make payments on it.

I was 17 when I got my first car, too. My parents paid for it, and I gradually paid them back. So yes, I "paid it myself", but I would've been taking the bus if my parents weren't there.

That being said, there's always a chance you aren't trolling and found a high paying job, whilst being in high school.
